Learning about animals becomes more exciting when students explore, observe, and participate actively. As a part of the English learning experience, Grade 4 students participated in an interactive activity where they discovered different animals and matched them with their correct habitats.
Activity Overview
The class was divided into two teams. Students were provided with animal flashcards and a habitat chart showing four different habitats — Forest, Desert, Ocean, and Polar Region. Each team picked an animal card and carefully identified where that animal lived. They then placed the animal in its correct habitat on the chart. For example, the octopus was placed in the ocean habitat because it lives in the sea.
