Learning grammar becomes exciting when children learn by doing! Our Grade 2 students participated enthusiastically in two interactive communication activities designed to build their confidence in speaking and sentence formation
Activity 1: Today and Yesterday Words
Students explored how words change when we talk about the present and the past. They confidently identified pairs such as “I am” – “I was,” “I buy” – “I bought,” and “I can” – “I could.” This activity helped them understand the concept of present and past expressions in a fun and engaging way.
Activity 2: Let’s Frame a Sentence!
Using the given words, students created short and meaningful sentences. They focused on using correct grammar, proper sentence structure, and clear expression while sharing their ideas with the class. The activity enhanced their communication skills, creativity, and confidence in using English.
