Grade – 1 (All Sections)
To make learning fun and engaging, students of grade 1, recently presented a role play. They were introduced to the fascinating world of wild animals, where lion roars, elephant stomps, bear growls and rabbit hops.
It was wonderful to see how excited the kids were as they played the role of different animals. The activity helped all the students of grade 1 to understand about wild animals, their habitat and how they survive using their instincts.
Through this activity students learnt about difference between wild and domestic animals, explored how these animals live, what they eat and why it is important to protect both the animals and their natural habitats The activity not only helped them understand wild animals, their habitats, and survival instincts but also served as a valuable experience in creating stage presence and performing in front of an audience.
The children gained confidence as they portrayed different animals, learning how to project their voices and express the unique behaviors of each creature. It was inspiring to see how comfortable they became in front of their peers, gaining exposure to performing in a supportive environment. The stage became a space where they could explore their creativity and develop important public speaking skills in a fun and relaxed setting.
The activity aimed at sparking curiosity and respect for wildlife, guiding students on an engaging journey into animal kingdom.
